These orange boxing boots were a commission for a dear friend, it was a really fun project. I learned a lot along the way.
This is after the initial pattern making process, where the pieces are being cut from kangaroo and chrome tan black leather.
Jex had a pair of beloved boots that she wanted to emulate the style of, so it was interesting working out how the pattern pieces needed to work.
After sewing the uppers together and adding a tongue and lining to the boots, I added the zippers and the lacing.
They were then lasted on veg tan inner soles.
I added cork sole filler, and rubber welting.
